I have this reoccurring dream about a cave.?

I have this reoccurring dream about a cave. It's a giant cave, pleasant, and the entrance is in the closet to the back spare bedroom in my grandma's house. I love being in the cave, but I only have the dream when I'm about to experience a big change in my life. I've had this dream many times. Days before my husband attacked me. Days before my husband nearly strangled me and I left him. Days before I left my boyfriend. It confuses the hell out of me. I long to have this dream all the time but of course I cannot provoke it. What does it all mean? How do I get back to this cave?
