I was reading luke ch 10 the other day and this verse sorta stood out?

"He that hears you hears Me,He that despises you despises Me and He that despises Me despises Him that sent Me" .As I kinda thought about it the considerations and implications took my mind into different directions because does this not ring true (whether it has to do specifically with God or not) that if you're speaking or doing something on the behalf of someone else and those that you've been sent to don't receive what you were told to say then ultimately it's not just you they refuse but the person that sent you ? what (if any) thoughts does it provoke in you as you consider it?
